(On-Base) Preschool Soccer Coach - Saturdays
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Tiny Troops Soccer is an amazing, minority woman-owned business, operated by military spouses who have proudly employed over 750+ military spouses, dependents, and civilians worldwide. Our mission? To serve military kids and their friends by teaching them the beautiful game of soccer, ages 18 months - 4 years old. We’re all about building happy, confident kids, developmentally ready soccer players, and a vibrant community for everyone.

WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT US
HOURS
Expect to work between 3.5 to 6 hours per week. Saturday availability is essential. Additional hours during the week may be required for online administrative tasks such as coach evaluations, Slack and email communications, lesson material reviews, training, and monthly coach meetings, which will take around 2-3 hours per month.
HOURLY SALARY
Start strong with a competitive $18-$19 hour for entry-level coaches. Administrative and off-field tasks are compensated at $15/hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Base Access: Must have a DoD government-issued ID to access the base.
- Age: 18 years or older and graduated from high school.
- Passion: Love teaching soccer and working with young children.
- Commitment: A minimum of a 4-month consecutive commitment on Saturdays (with occasional Sundays for make-up classes).
- Leadership: Capable of leading classes independently if necessary.
- Team Spirit: Be a team player and ambassador for Tiny Troops Soccer.
- Communication: Timely and professional communication with the administrative team and parents.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the field’s location.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate must demonstrate the physical capabilities of:
- Stay active with the ability to remain upright, reach, squat, kneel, run, and move dynamically during coaching sessions.
- Independently rise from a seated position to engage effectively in childcare activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in coaching, playing, refereeing soccer, babysitting, nannying, or teaching is a plus!

EX: Saturday morning schedule
8:30 - 8:55 a.m - Mini Movers for 18 months to 24 months
9:00-9:25 a.m. - 2 year olds
9:45-10:30 a.m. - 3 year olds
10:45-11:30 a.m. - 4 year olds
FIELD LOCATION
(ON BASE) Marek Park: Kadena Air Base at Marek Park near the gazebo by the parking lot.
PLEASE NOTE:
If your child participates in the classes you coach, ensure another adult is present at every class to assist or remove them from the field if needed.
